Daniel Cabrera Gets an 'F' for Frustrating

Calling Daniel Cabrera a pitcher is a formality. Although he stands atop the mound in the middle of a baseball diamond, a more apt term for the Baltimore Orioles right-hander is frustrating.  With a blazing fastball that is the envy of most Major League pitchers and quality, if not filthy, secondary pitches, Cabrera has never produced an ERA below 4.50. Yankees pay homage to Virginia Tech by kicking them when they're down

"And when the national anthem was finished and the players headed for their dugouts, it was time to play a game that was less about baseball than it was about healing." How fitting, then, that a game about healing involved making Virginia Tech look pathetic at baseball two days after the school narrowly missed out on an NCAA tourney bid.
