Jake Westbrook was the hottest Indians’ pitcher this spring. The good news for Westbrook is that it carried over to his first start against the White Sox for this afternoon’s 12:00 game. The bad news is that the Tribe offense was shut down by a better performance from starter John Danks, who led the Pale Hose to a 2-1 victory. Westbrook did everything he could to win the game....The Jake…er…The Prog…er…Progressive Field.

It started off as a pipedream, a new stadium in Cleveland. I don’t think there was an Indians fan who was around from the 50’s through the 80’s that thought Cleveland would ever have a new stadium, until the Jacobs brothers purchased the team in 1986.
