Danny Ainge's Goal? Sign Rasheed Wallace and Grant Hill

Talk about a full court press. The Boston Celtics are putting on Rasheed Wallace. Except it’s off the court. After finding out during the 2008-09 season that the Celtics really lacked a deep bench, the Boston Celtics are going hard after Rasheed Wallace. Right now, in Rasheed Wallace family room is Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, head coach Doc Rivers, Danny Ainge and co-owner Wyc Grousbeck. Talk about making your feelings known . And what a brilliant move this will be for the C’s. Imagine having Wallace, who’s seven feet tall, shooting from the outside while freeing up Kevin Garnett underneath. Having Wallace will also allow Paul Pierce and Ray Allen to go one-on-one with their man. Something they were not allowed to do during the Chicago and Orlando series. Boston made it painfully obvious that they should have made an attempt to re-sign James Posey. Brian Scalabrine was not the answer. Mikki Moore was a complete disaster. Leon Powe was injured for ...
