David Beckham Desperate To Reach 100 Caps

As we speak David Beckham is sitting on 99 caps for his beloved England. After the pain of being left out of Fabio Capello's first squad, David Beckham is again fighting to be fit. This time for Englands friendly clash with France on the 26th of March. The former England skipper is currently in pre season training with his club, LA Galaxy. Becks realises he has an uphill battle to prove to Capello he is fit enough to do the job, but he simply won't give up on that 100th cap! At 32, I personally think if Beckham is fit and playing well then he can still do a job for England. It's a shame he ran away for the money in the U.S. though, as he certainly shot himself in the foot (that's what McClaren originally thought and I'm sure Capello feels the same). So will Capello warm again to Beckham? Only time will tell on that one, but what do you think? Does he deserve it? Can he still do a job? Or should he just give up and ring Mr Speilburg! [link]
