Denver Broncos' Wild Ride

Ah, the smell of inconsistency, and the Denver Broncos reek of it. They also smell like a championship team. Don't believe me? Remember the '07 Giants we all thought except for their fans of course that they were going to lose to someone in the first round of the playoffs. They go on to upset the Pats in the Superb Bowl; now, while the Broncos are not the Giants in any way, they do have the chance to do what last years Giant team could not win the division. If the Chargers do choke Thursday night and Denver wins Sunday it's theirs for the taking. This would be a wild finish for a season that seemed like it was dead on the shores of Lake Erie, but anybody knows to expect this from a Shanahan run team. So although they may not win a playoff game because of that inconsistency, they might just do what no one expects because that's been the mark of their season. (link)
