New York Yankees star short stop Derek Jeter took a pretty good beating from a Daniel Cabrera pitch in tonight’s game. The Baltimore Orioles pitcher lost control of a fastball and it hit Jeter full speed right on his hand. Jeter was in obvious pain after the beaning, and was immediately taken out of the game. First course of action was get him to the locker room and under the X-Ray machine.John Sterling seems to hint Yanks might be a bad team!

Tuesday night at the Stadium, the Yankees got bet badly, 12-2 by the Baltimore Orioles. The night marked the return of Alex Rodriguez to the lineup, and A-Rod hit a homerun. Mike Mussina got completely destroyed on the mound though, leading to a Yankee crushing. Mike Mussina only lasted 2/3 of an inning, and left the game down 7-0 in the 1st.
