The Cubs put eight runs on the board in the third inning as they pulled away for an 11-4 victory over the Houston Astros today. Mark DeRosa's grand slam and Alfonso Soriano's three-run homer accounted for seven of the third-inning runs. Jason Marquis benefited from the barrage in picking up the win as the Cubs are 4-2 on their current home stand.
