Zach Parise scored the only goal in the shootout, Scott Clemmensen stopped all three Washington shooters and the New Jersey Devils ended a four-game losing streak with a 6-5 victory over the Capitals on Saturday night. After Parise, New Jersey's first shooter, beat Jose Theodore with a deke, Clemmensen secured the win with saves on Viktor Kozlov, Alex Ovechkin and Boyd Gordon.
