Brendan Shanahan still has his scoring touch. Playing his first NHL game in more than eight months, Shanahan returned to the New Jersey Devils on Monday night and scored in the second period of his season debut against the Nashville Predators. Shanahan, who turns 40 on Friday, broke a scoreless tie at 1:38 with his 651st goal, which ranks 11th on the career list.
