Diaz getting his chance with Jays

Robinzon Diaz's locker is located in the corner of the Blue Jays' clubhouse. Up until Sunday morning, the same spot was occupied by former designated hitter Frank Thomas, who was released by the club prior to that day's game. While Toronto is not depending on Diaz to fill Thomas' large shoes, the team does admire his ability with the bat.
