The Dallas Mavericks are planning to be without injured Dirk Nowitzki for Wednesday night's pivotal game against Golden State, even after the reigning MVP went through the morning shootaround.
"Right now, we're just going to play without him, and if something changes, we'll go from there," Dallas coach Avery Johnson said.
Nowitzki sprained his left ankle and knee March 23. He went through a workout Tuesday, then took part in the shootaround in hopes that he could play against the Warriors.
