Dissecting the Redskins' Trade

NEW YORK--The Redskins' trade, to me, means they're going to take a wide receiver. No wideouts have been taken yet and the Redskins should have a shot at two or three guys from among Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly, Limas Sweed and DeSean Jackson. I'm a little surprised they didn't stay put and take Clemson defensive end Phillip Merling. The Bengals were actively looking to add a receiver to their roster once once they cut Chris Henry. They went a little off the board by going after Coastal Carolina's Jerome Simpson . Simpson may be a bit of a reach. After all, guys like Limas Sweed , Malcolm Kelly and DeSean Jackson were still out there. ....the Tennessee Titans select Jason Jones, DE, Eastern Michigan. I had never heard of this kid before 5 minutes ago. He played defensive end and tackle in college. I don't understand where the Titans come up with these guys, but at least this guy grades pretty well, and he did have some success in college.
