Doc Proves to Be Right Man for the Job

THE BOSTON HERALD staff writes, "It turns out that Doc Rivers the head coach isn't all that different from Doc Rivers the point guard -- poised, calm, able to see the big picture. Danny Ainge always knew this. That's why the Celtics [team stats]' basketball boss stuck by his embattled coach last year even as the calls for his head mounted. He doesn't know how to break in young players, the critics wailed. He can't use his bench. He routinely gets outcoached." (link)
