Dolphins-Broncos: Interceptions Key in Miami's Win Over Denver

 
Miami's secondary has come through for the second week straight. The Dolphins' defense came up with three crucial picks on Jay Cutler Sunday, inspiring Miami to victory 26-17. The win put the Dolphins back at .500, and in the AFC East playoff race a year after they were only able to win once the entire season. Pennington didn't throw for any touchdowns and threw an interception, but was still very effective with 281 passing yards. Miami's kicker, Dan Carpenter, deserves a lot of credit for finishing four different drives with a field goal. Ronnie Brown didn't pile on the yardage with only 59, but he was able to break free for a 30-yard run early, and he scored a touchdown to seal the game late in the fourth quarter. Dolphins' receiver Greg Camarillo caught 11 catches for 111 yards in a great performance by yet another Miami wide receiver. Last week it was Ginn who did great, and this week it was Camarillo, which further proves that anyone can get it done ... (link)
