Two years after winning the league MVP, Shaun Alexander has been released by the Seattle Seahawks . The 30-year-old Alexander had an up and down career in Seattle, posting three trips to the Pro Bowl, the aforementioned MVP, but had his numbers drop considerably the last two seasons.
