Domenech's gamble on attack fails as France crushed

France coach Raymond Domenech gambled on attack and lost, his defense crumbling completely in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Netherlands at the European Championship.
Criticized after a dull opening draw to Romania four days ago, Domenech shook up his team, made three changes and switched to an attacking mode, but his plan backfired completely as the Dutch gave the French a lesson in finishing.

Netherlands were in sparkling form against Italy in their opening Euro 2008 match and they will be looking to carry that into the match against France today. France struggled against Romania in their first match and never really looked threatening. They know Holland are good in attack so France will need to be better if they are to win this game.
