Domenik Hixon: The Perfect Replacement

 
I am not one to beat the dead horse, but I thought I should update everyone. Plaxico Burress will never again wear a New York Giants jersey on a professional football field. It is a sad, tragic story of yet another stupid athlete ruining a perfect career and a history with an amazing franchise. Instead of discussing how Burress is gone, how about instead, we take a further look at the man replacing him: Domenik Hixon. I'll at least come out and be honest...I will miss Plax. As a Giants fan, no-one can watch him tear up as confetti plasters his jersey after catching the game winning pass in Super Bowl XLII, and not already miss the guy. Hixon, however, I think I could get used to. He has been primarily used a special teams guru, who often is expected to get the ball to the thirty or forty yard line every time he returns a kickoff.
