Donovan McNabb and the Other Bird Brains in Philadelphia

 
Maybe Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb hasn't had his soup that eats like a meal in recent weeks. It's one thing that McNabb’s performance has gone to the birds in his last four games—53 percent completion rate and five interceptions. It's another when the guy calmly asserts during his post-game press conference that the team's fine after an uninspired deadlock with the one-win Cincinnati Bengals. You don't need to pound the podium in an expletive-filled rant and rave, but acknowledge the situation at hand—that this team's chances of a playoff berth has gone down the tubes. Unfortunately for him, he proves his head just isn't in the game (on and off the field) when McNabb shockingly acknowledges that he’s surprised to know that games end in a tie after a scoreless overtime period. He isn't the only one either—several of his teammates also don't seem to have a clue about the rules of the sport they make millions playing. Are you serious? I ... (link)
