Chris Douglas-Roberts has tested positive for the H1N1 virus, aka The Swine Flu.
The team put out a release about an hour ago confirming that the second-year forward has contracted the virus. He missed the previous game with flu-like symptoms and has been Twittering about how badly he's felt lately.
"Just got the call from Doc, bad bad news. :-(," Douglas-Roberts tweeted earlier today.
The release said that Douglas-Roberts has been treated "accordingly" and that the Nets "have followed all precautionary measures as mandated by NBA guidelines."
The Nets play the Celtics tonight and then play again on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Oh, by the way, Courtney Lee will miss tonight's game because of a strained groin. That means that seven Nets will be out of action because of injury or illness.
