Doumit thriving in Bucs' cleanup spot

Pirates manager John Russell slotted catcher Ryan Doumit into the cleanup spot again on Friday, marking the eighth time this season, and the fourth time in four days, that Doumit has filled that role.

I agree with Wilton - it's time to get Tom Gorzelanny to a doctor. The velocity isn't there, and the control certainly isn't there. His stats so far this season are astounding - 22.1 innings, 13 strikeouts and twenty-two walks, plus an 8.46 ERA. ...Phillies B-Squad beats Pirates

You know the Pirates aren't very good when the Phillies are missing Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino due to injuries, bench Ryan Howard, start nobodies Brad Harman and Eric Bruntlett, and Chase Utley and Pat Burrell combine for one hit and they still lose to the Phillies 6-5.
