Draft Day Drama: Amar'e To The Warriors And Curry To The Suns?

 
According to many reports (this one is from Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic), the Phoenix Suns have continued/finished their dismantling of the old core of the team. The Suns and Golden State Warriors have agreed in principal—it sounds like—on a deal that will send the four time All-Star Amar'e Stoudemire to the Warriors in exchange for Andres Biedrins, Brandan Wright and Marco Belinelli along with the rights to Stephen Curry. The Suns have openly coveted Curry for a long time and the deal seemed to hinge on the Warriors ability to get one of the two players the Suns wanted, Jordan Hill or Stephen Curry. The trade will also only be accepted it sounds like as long as the Warriors can get Amar'e to sign an extension. If the trade goes through, the Suns will role out a lineup of: PG Steve Nash SG Jason Richardson SF Grant Hill PF Earl Clark C Andres Biedrins Their bench would consist of: Stephen Curry Leandro Barbosa Goran Dragic Robin Lopez Brandan Wright  ...
