It was a career night for Al Jefferson as the Wolves downed the Spurs 117-107 in Minneapolis on Wednesday night. The Suns three point shooting was as cold as the weather outside the arena, as Phoenix made just 10 of their 27 three point attempts in what was arguably the Wolves most complete victory of the season. (Not that there are too many to choose from.)

Despite being without Andrew Bynum, the Lakers took it to the Spurs--for a half. Then, the Spurs pushed back in the second half and the Lakers fell to pieces. The "conventional wisdom" will be that Kobe took too many shots. Interestingly, neither Phil Jackson nor Tex Winter agree with that take--and those are two people who have not hesitated to criticize Kobe when they did think he shot too much.
