Tim Duncan most likely will miss no more than a few games after injuring his ankle and knee.
The San Antonio Spurs star was hurt against Portland on Sunday, and the team said his MRI came back negative Monday.
He has a sprained right ankle and will miss Wednesday's game against Dallas, Spurs spokesman Tom James said. The injury will be reassessed this week, and Duncan probably will return in the next few games.
"It's not a big deal at all," James said.
