The big story with the Pacers this week was the return of Mike Dunleavy, who totaled 46 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in his first three games of the season after missing 34 with an injury to his right knee. Dunleavy has been limited thus far to around 20 minutes per game, and no more than six at a stretch, as the medical staff wisely takes a cautious approach to his comeback.
Considering he's missed most of the past three months, he has a lot of ground to make up in terms of game conditioning. Still, owners can see flashes of what they can expect from Dunleavy when he does move back into the lineup—18-20 points per game with somewhere around five rebounds and four assists. Dunleavy's return also will help Danny Granger, which is readily apparent. In the three games Dunleavy played, Granger averaged 35.6 points and attempted 71 shots, so any concerns he might lose shot volume appear unfounded.
