Darren Huckerby scored one goal and had an assist as the San Jose Earthquakes beat the Los Angeles Galaxy 3-2 on Sunday, ending an eight-match winless streak. Ryan Cochrane scored his first goal of the season in the 90th minute for the Earthquakes (4-9-6). Newly acquired Arturo Alvarez also scored to give San Jose's league-worst offense its first three-goal match of the year.
