Personal trainer Brian McNamee's new assertion that he gave
federal authorities some seven-year-old bloody syringes and steroid-laced vials that he says proves Roger Clemens is a performance-enhancing-drug user did more than rachet up the intrigue about who's the spectacular liar in this case just days before both men are scheduled to appear at a congressional hearing in Washington on Wednesday.
