El Salvador humiliates Anguilla 12-0 in World Cup qualifying opener (AP)

 
Rudis Corrales scored five goals and Ronald Cerritos had three to pace El Salvador to a 12-0 victory over Anguilla on Wednesday in the first leg of their first-round CONCACAF World Cup qualifying series. Corrales scored in the 31st, 32nd, 54th, 65th and 68th minutes. Shawn Martin scored in the fifth and 17th, and Cerritos in the 46th, 77th and 84th minutes. [link]
