Chelsea are represented by Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, Frank Lampard, John Terry, and Peter Cech.
Pepe Reina, Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, and Fernando Torres (Liverpool), and Cesc Fabregas and, Manuel Almunia (Arsenal) are the other nominated players from England.
The only other players to make it are Lionel Messi and Carlos Puyol from Barcelona and Manuel Neuer, the Schalke 04 goalkeeper.
