The Wizards today announced that veteran center Etan Thomas has a torn MCL in his left knee and will be out indefinitely. He will be reevaluated in two weeks. The injury occured in the first quarter of last night's loss to Milwaukee. Thomas left the game and did not return. Thomas, who missed all of last season following open-heart surgery, is averaging 3.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11.4 minutes. The longest tenured Wizard, Thomas has one more year remaining on his contract.
