Former Clemson star Jeff Davis is joining the football staff.
Interim coach Dabo Swinney says Davis will be an assistant athletic director for player relations.
Davis was known as "The Judge" during his days as a standout linebacker. He was an anchor of the Tigers' 1981 national championship team. For the past six seasons, Davis has been an assistant athletic director for fundraising.
He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame last December.
