Ex-Kentucky SG Legion to transfer to Illinois

Despite his mother publicly favoring Notre Dame, Alex Legion has opted to transfer to Illinois.
``Coach (Bruce) Weber and his staff recruited me out of high school," the former Kentucky freshman told FOXSports.com on Friday night. "I went to both places to visit in the last week and liked both, but I felt more comfortable at Illinois."

Yes, the Wildcats sit at 4-5 and are in the middle of their first four-game losing streak since the '89-'90 season. However, Kentucky fans have a lot to be excited about in terms of looking ahead to the future. FIO staff writer Dan Rossi discusses how new coach Billy Gillispie will rectify this team.
