Ex-Laker Rider Arrested For Driving Stolen Car

 
 F ormer NBA player Isaiah Rider was arrested on skid row in Los Angeles for allegedly driving a stolen car. The 37-year-old ex-Laker was seen failing to stop at a limit line. When officers pulled over the car, they found it had been reported stolen from South Los Angeles. Rider who played basketball at UNLV before starting his profesional career in 1993, playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets, Rider ended his career in 2001. The former NBA player has been arrested many times both during and after his playing career for assault, drug use and other crimes. In 2007 Rider pleaded guilty in Marin County to charges including evading a police officer, felony, battery and cocaine possession. Rider has to appear in court next month. [link]
