Facing Mets, Dodgers' Torre doesn't diss Yankees

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Playing the Mets is nothing new for
Joe Torre . When the former Yankees manager showed up yesterday at Tradition Field wearing Dodgers blue, however, that made for a different feel. But it was the same Torre, right down to the barrage of questions that still involved his old team.

It looks like the Detroit Tigers may have finally found a market for third baseman Brandon Inge. The Los Angeles Dodgers recently contacted the Tigers about acquiring the third baseman but talks have not really progressed, at this point. Dodgers manager Joe Torre and third base coach Larry Bowa are very fond of Inge and would love to have him stabilize their hot corner.Hank, Theo need to get down to business
