Georgia Tech will have to wait till after this game for the Paul Johnson era to start, and already many receivers are concerned that he will not need them if Johnson brings the triple option offense with him. Both teams have won the last time they played in this bowl game. Fresno State comes into the game playing in their 8th bowl game in 9 years.

Today’s second bowl game of the day, the Humanitarian Bowl, features Fresno State (8-4) against Ga Tech (7-5) but this game might not be only about showing the talent of the players. Georgia Tech has a new head coach, Paul Johnson from Navy, but in this game it will be headed by Jon Tenuta. After being in the business for a while Tenuta might be looking forward to a chance at calling the shots.

When I wrote the preview for the Humanitarian Bowl I said that if Fresno State was going to beat Georgia Tech they would need to run and run and then run some more. Well, the Bulldogs did just that and then some. The way that Fresno State controlled the game was the reason that the final score turned out to be 40 to 28 for them.
