Hey guys, I’m filling in for Cimini today and I just left the Jets’ sparkling fieldhouse where the team practiced indoors for the first time.
The place is humongous. You can easily fit an airplane in the fieldhouse. The Jets say their new practice facility is the biggest in the league square footage-wise and I believe it.
With GM Mike Tannenbaum watching from high above the field, Brett Favre looked fine in the few moments of practice we got to watch from the opposite end of the field in the end zone. He didn’t seem to favor his ankle at all.
DT Kris Jenkins also looked fine during defensive drills and Eric Mangini said he expects his space eater to be ready to go on Sunday.
CB Justin Miller (foot) was out on the field as well but his status for Sunday is still a game-day decision. The Jets might need Miller this weekend since they need to slow down Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald.
