Favre Won't Report Today as Packers Ask For More Time

 
GREEN BAY, Wis.--The Packers are here to begin training camp. But quarterback Brett Favre apparently won't be joining them, after all. Favre told Sports Illustrated that he won't report to camp today with the Packers after General Manager Ted Thompson asked for a couple days to resolve Favre's status. The Packers apparently are attempting to complete a trade that would enable Favre to continue his career elsewhere.
