FC Dallas finalizes Gbandi's transfer to FK Haugesund (AP)

FC Dallas finalized the transfer of defender Chris Gbandi to FK Haugesund of the Norwegian Second Division on Friday. Per team and MLS policy, terms of the transfer were not disclosed. Dallas selected Gbandi with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2002 MLS SuperDraft. In six seasons with FC Dallas, Gbandi started 100 of the 111 games in which he appeared, scoring three goals and adding eight assists.
