Fenway Park adds room for about 1,000 (AP)

 
The Boston Red Sox are getting Fenway Park ready for next week's home opener, when almost 1,000 more fans will be able to squeeze through the gates of baseball's oldest and smallest park. The defending World Series champions play their first home game of the season Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers. [link]
