After a first half without goals, in the second half Wayne Rooney scored after a great pass of Carlos Tevez to put the 1 - 0, and Cristiano Ronaldo scored the 2 - 1 in a counterattack to give Manchester the victory that lefts them in the first position in a head to head competition against Arsenal
