Fernando Torres: United Catching Record Would Be a Tragedy

Fernando Torres, who has yet to get his hands on any silverware with Liverpool, has today confessed that it would be a small tragedy if United won the league this season, equaling the dippers’ record of 18 titles. Whilst none of the current players have come close to winning the Premiership with Liverpool, Torres acknowledges that the players are very keen to cling onto their record. With Chelsea losing at the weekend and Liverpool set to play tonight, United are now just five points behind both teams, with a game in hand on Chelsea.
