Fielder shakes off flu to start opener

Prince Fielder, who missed the team's exhibition finale on Saturday and its workout at Wrigley Field on Sunday because he was under the weather, was listed in his usual No. 3 spot when the Brewers' lineup was posted Monday morning.

The Milwaukee Brewers took round one of sixteen versus the Chicago Cubs this season with a 4-3, 10 inning victory on Monday afternoon. Newly acquired relief pitcher, Eric Gagne picked up the win for the Crew after blowing a three run lead for the Brewers in the bottom of the ninth. David Riske came on to work the tenth to save the game for Gagne.
