After falling to the Washington Capitals in game 5 in Washington on Saturday 5-4, the Flyers knew they had to come out physical early in game 6, much like their first two home games of the series, and that is exactly what they did. After 5 games of basically being shut down, Alexander Ovechkin proved why he is the NHL MVP as he scored two goals in the third period to lead the Capitals past the Flyers, 4-2. The win forces the series back to Washington for a Game 7, something the Flyers desperately wanted to avoid.
