Blessed with the best footballing brain the footballing world has ever seen, the vision of an eagle, and the skill of one of the best players in the world put together.
Cesc Fabregas is now the new Arsenal captain after William Gallas's poor actions towards fellow members of his team. This now means that Arsenal has one of the best midfielders in the world leading the Gunners and all of sudden, the Arsenal's future looks very very bright.
William Gallas' stripping of the captaincy was a bold move by Wenger, but it was the right one, and now both Gallas and Arsenal can start fresh. With Fabregas now leading Arsenal, I believe Arsenal will now evolve back into the team they should be and that Gallas will start playing like the center-half he was.
With a huge performance needed this weekend to overcome their rivals Chelsea, Arsenal will no doubt be full of confidence with their new captain ready to lead them. Arsenal should be back to an almost full squad and a win against Chelsea ...
