Florida State Week 11 Thoughts

 
If, during the summer, I thought that FSU would... Have a quarterback that ran for 144 yards against Miami... Have a running back that ran for 13 touchdowns... Have a kicker that has made 17 field goals in a row... Win three straight games after being down 10-0 in the first quarter... Have a defensive end with nine sacks... And be a fumble away from being 8-1... I would not believe myself.   Although FSU does not control its destiny into the ACC championship game, it is very much in it. With a Wake Forest loss to either NC State or Boston College and FSU wins over Boston College and Maryland, it is possible. A positive to come out of the recent string of suspensions involving Bert Reed (twice) and Corey Surrency is how offensive production does not take a drop. FSU won both games with Reed suspended (Virginia Tech and Clemson) and lost on a fumble with 40 seconds to go against Georgia Tech when Surrency was suspended.  Surrency made Clemson pay for his suspension ...
