Flyers' Knuble out with hamstring injury (AP)

 
Right wing Mike Knuble is out for the rest of the Philadelphia Flyers' series against the Washington Capitals after tearing his left hamstring in Saturday's Game 5 loss. Knuble, who scored the winner in double overtime of Game 4, appeared to catch his skate in a rut while attempting to block a shot late in the second period. [link]

Flyers Lose Game 5 To Capitals, Lose Knuble To Hamstring Injury

The season was on the line for the Washington Capitals on Saturday, and they came out like it. They played with a no-holds barred energy and knocked the Flyers back on their heals. During the second period, Mike Knuble went down to block a shot. He injured his hamstring in the process and will be out for the rest of the first round.
