Former Knick Houston again takes shot at comeback

Allan Houston plans to make another attempt at a comeback
this fall and it is possible he could get a second try with the Knicks. The 37-year-old Houston told Newsday Tuesday that his agent, Bill Strickland, has been in touch with a few teams and is in preliminary discussions about a training camp tryout. Talks aren't expected to heat up until after Labor Day.

Houston tried to comeback last fall when he showed up midway through Knicks training camp, but barely lasted a week. "At this point, I put myself in the best position to be ready before that, instead of trying to go in the middle of training camp," Houston said.
