Freak injury sidelines Clement

A freak accident will keep Mariners catcher Jeff Clement out for a little bit longer. Clement partially tore the fingernail of his throwing hand on a pop-up play on Tuesday. He was out of Wednesday's finale against the Red Sox.

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of watching the Tribe take 2 out of 3 from the Mariners, and two things jumped out at me. The Mariners are ridiculously bad, and Ichiro is ridiculously good. I never watch any M's games, so I never realized how amazing Ichiro is.
