Free-agent central: Pair of trades highlight flurry

The Jets have agreed in principle to send the Pro Bowl linebacker to the New Orleans Saints for a conditional draft pick, FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer reported. The pick will be based on Vilma's playing time, as he's coming off major knee surgery. Although there had been reports that the Lions were the frontrunners to acquire Vilma, ultimately the Saints came away with the 6-foot-1, 230 pounder. (link)
