Two players the Giants were interested in signing are on the verge of signing elsewhere. First, veteran cornerback Brian Kelly, who visited the Giants earlier this week, has reportedly agreed to sign with the Detroit Lions, as expected, according to ESPN.com . Also, quarterback Trent Green, whom the Giants called about on the first day of the free-agent signing period, is reportedly on the verge of signing with the St. Louis Rams . (link)
