The one word Philadelphia Flyers fans don't want to hear is: concussion. This word has rang drastically true for this organization over the years. Players such as Eric Lindros, Keith Primeau, and last season Simon Gagne have been attacked by this horrible condition and hit hard by it.
Simon Gagne left last night's game against the Devils due to what the team had told us was dehydration. Automatically, the thoughts of the worst possible scenario drove into our minds. Of course we thought Gagne was having concussion symptoms, the same symptoms that Keith Primeau had after he had his latest concussion that ultimately ended his career.
Today at practice in Voorhees, the Flyers practices without the likes of Matt Carle, Kimmo Timonen, and of course Simon Gagne. After practice, Gagne gave the media an update on his condition.
"I feel much better today. I got a full nights sleep and woke up with a lot of energy, which is a great sign," Gagne said. "I knew this season was going to have ups ...
